Like most businesses, we are always looking for additional clients and one of the ways of doing this is through new strategic alliances. Chris has only been working with us for a short while but has already got a clear understanding of the business and the type of connections we’re looking for.
Chris recently called me saying he had an IT business he wanted to introduce us to and as I trust Chris’s judgement and the quality of his connections I agreed to a meeting.
Chris came along to facilitate the introductions and joined us in the meeting.
It turned out that the other business not only has a detailed knowledge of the technical side of the products we offer but also has a database of clients who may need our services. He didn’t have a telecoms business he felt he could trust to introduce to his customers but because Chris recommended us we now have that arrangement in place. In addition, he can supply other IT services to our clients as well which will broaden what we can offer to them.
Fusion's range and depth of connections seems to be almost bottomless and it’s because they also have a trusted reputation that we enjoy working with them. This one connection alone can possibly lead to quite a bit of new business in the months and years to come.
